Wisconsin Section & Slide Data

This database lists specimens from the Wisconsin Comparative Collection of Mammalian Brains which are currently preserved as stained sections on glass slides. Most of these specimens are housed at the National Museum of Health and Medicine at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington D. C., although some are still at the Department of Physiology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. The database includes the current location of each specimen. The specimens are available for study by researchers and educators world wide, through arrangements with the collection curators,
